|On April 28, 2004, the Supreme Court of Guam launched its Electronic Filing System, marking a technological milestone for the Judiciary and addressing the need for physical space to store thousands of paper documents and files. Now, through the E-filing system, attorneys and parties need only a computer and internet access to file documents electronically, thereby avoiding the cost of paper and printing, as well as the physical delivery of documents. E-filing also allows parties and members of the Bar to gain access to filed documents via the internet. The result: much greater access, at far less cost.
